What is vitality coaching?

  • More healing. Less judgement.

  • Real care for a modern world.

  • Recovery at a deeper level.

  • You, rediscovered.

Let’s redefine “healthy” together.

Do you find yourself judging yourself or others for not being “healthy” enough?

Or do you feel overwhelmed by guilt if you eat that extra dessert or for not exercising as much as you “should”?

If this is you, you’re in good company. Almost everyone I meet seems to hold this attitude toward the ideas of health and well-being.

I’m here to help change that.

Trust me — your real, foundational health isn’t about what you ate yesterday. It’s not about whether you fit into that dress, or whether you took the elevator instead of the stairs. It’s not about whether you meditated today or if you skipped yoga this week.

What if I told you that all those things you feel guilty about weren’t the biggest factors affecting how you feel?

Yes, of course — those things do matter; factors like food and exercise do indeed affect your health. And yes, it’s part of what we focus on in coaching. Taking care of yourself in these ways can indeed help you feel better and more resilient — and that’s something to celebrate!

But what if I told you — especially those of you with chronic illness, chronic digestive complaints, and mental health struggles -- that exercise and diet are not the most important factors?

They’re not what’s making you sick.

In fact, I was doing all those things when I was at my sickest — eating right, exercising, avoiding alchohol, meditating, and more. But the simple fact that I was living in a moldy house meant that none of this moved the needle on my baseline level of health.

You see, modern medicine (and society in general) only pay attention to a very small picture of what affects our well-being. We tend to over-emphasize the factors that are more easily within our control (e.g. diet and exercise) and de-emphasize the factors that we can’t control (environment, working the night shift, toxins in our food, pollution, having a stressful job, etc). So, exercise and diet may not be the most important factors for you — they’re just the easiest to change.

That means — and hear me out — if you are feeling unwell, struggling with autoimmune disorders or other conditions, weighed down by prescriptions, not thinking clearly, and struggling to get by — it’s not your fault.

Let that sink in a moment.

It’s not because you didn’t take the stairs today. It’s not because you ate a cupcake at that kid’s birthday party. It’s not because you aren’t doing enough yoga.

The biggest issues affecting your health may not be as obvious as most people make them out to be.

That’s where I come in.

I work with you to uncover the unique factors affecting your health and address them on a timeline that works for you.

That’s where true vitality can be found.
